The Cooperatiave Agreement forming the Williamson County & Cities Health District was recently revised and approved in April 2007. As a result, the member governments of Williamson County, Cities of Taylor, Cedar Park, Georgetown, and Round Rock formed a task force to recruit other Williamson County cities to join the Health District. As of this date, Liberty Hill has requested membership, and with a vote on the 10/11th Round Rock City Council meeting will be approved by all present members.
Hutto has now also requested membership retroactive to October 1, 2007, the start of their fiscal year. All member governments will have to approve this request also.
