Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the approval of the proposed homeland security grant funded project, SWAT Medic Equipment in the amount of $47,920.32, and to authorized the County Judge to sign the project worksheet for submittal to the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) for funding consideration.

Background

Williamson County annually submits projects for grant funding consideration to the CAPCOG Homeland Security Task Force. All projects submitted for the 10 county region will be prioritized based upon need. Funding allocations for the projects has not yet been established, therefore funding for this particular project is not yet known.
