Discuss and consider approving a request to increase the JP2 Jury Fund from $500 to $800.

Background

Due to the increase in the number of Jury Trials and the time frame allotted for Eviction Jury Trials by the Civil Rules, if Criminal Jury Trials or other Civil Jury Trials are already scheduled, we may have multiple jury trials scheduled in a one week period. Currently our department has $500 allotted to compensate jurors; therefore, we are requesting to increase the fund in the amount of $300 to total our Jury Fund to $800.
