Discuss and take action on the implementation of a burn ban for Williamson County for a period not to exceed 90 days and to authorize the County Judge to lift the ban when drought conditions improve or the threat of uncontrolled wildfire has decreased.
Background
Williamson County continues to experience persistent drought conditions. Even with the recent rainfall, the ground moisture levels continue to worsen and frost cured grasses present an increased fuel for wildfire.
