Consider authorizing the County Judge to sign the FY13 Emergency Management Performance Grant Application documents; TDEM-17 (Fiscal Year 2013 Emergency Management Performance Grant Application), TDEM-66 (Fiscal Year 2013 EMPG Staffing Pattern), TDEM-67 (Fiscal Year 2013 Application for Federal Assistance), and FEMA 20-16 (Summary Sheet for Assurances and Certifications).

Background

The Office of Emergency Management applies for the Emergency Management Performance Grant annually. Historically this grant has been awarded to Williamson County based upon the performance of its emergency management program and by meeting the standards set by the state and federal government.
