Hear presentation on Williamson County Habitat Conservation Plan tax benefit financing.

Background

Annually the Williamson County Conservation Foundation (WCCF) presents a list of participations for the prior calendar year for enrollment in the Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) tax benefit financing program. This plan, which was adopted as part of the HCP, is a financing mechanism for funding the HCP including acquisition of required mitigation preserves and permanent maintenance and monitoring under the county's 10(a) incidental take permit from the US Fish and Wildlife Service.

This presentation will summarize the mechanics of the tax benefit financing plan and provide preliminary funding estimates for the first enrollment class.
