Consider approving Change Order No. 37 in the amount of $23,117.24 for US 183, a Pass Through Financing Project in Precinct Two.

Background

This Change Order adds a new Contract item to compensate the Contractor for material and equipment costs associated with the cut and restore of pavement over drainage structures CC1, CC3, CC7 and CC9. In the original plans, an item was not included for payment of cutting and restoring pavement during the installation of cross culverts in areas under traffic. The roadway pavement section was restored using flowable fill and cold mix asphalt per the TxDOT Austin District standard. Compensation to the Contractor will be provided as a lump sum amount based upon actual material and equipment invoices.
