Consider reappointing Pat Herff, Sara Naylor, Vanessa Nothnagel and Celia Ortiz. to the Williamson County Child Welfare Board, for 3 more years, and to coinside with the county's fiscal year, to end on Sept. 30, 2014.

Background

Dianne Howell, Chairperson of the Williamson County Child Welfare Board has recommended the reappointments of Pat Herff, Sara Naylor, Vanessa Nothnagel, and Celia Ortiz. These ladies have all served on the board for several years are asking to be reappointed. Since the terms on the board, made up of 15 members run concurrent with the county's fiscal year, and the terms are staggered, these terms would begin immediately and end on Sept. 30, 2014. There was two board members who have recently resigned, Judy Person and Deborah Hobbs. The terms of those two ladies was to expire on Sept. 20, 2013, on Jan., 4, 2012 the court appointed Nancy Zenner to serve out the remainder of one of those terms. With approval of the reappointments suggested, this would bring the board up to 14 members, with 4 members whose term would expire on Sept. 30, 2012, 4 members with terms to expire on Sept. 30, 2013, and 5 members whose terms would expire on Sept. 30, 2014.
