Discuss and appove a line item transfer to distribute evenly the PT money into two PT line items.

Background

I have hired a replacement for an employee who is retiring at the end of the month. The retiree is training her replacement. HR told me to put the new person in a 30hr PT slot since she is working 40 hours but I needed to move money over to that salary line item. I requested the auditors create those line items in all my departments for future budget needs next year. They failed to tell me how much money I needed to move over to the insurance slot as 30hr PT people get insurance and benefits. There is no insurance associated with the slot eventhough she is a new employee and not even eligible for it. Now she has been moved over to the PT 20 hour slot where there is no insurance or beneifits and will not get paid for the MLK holiday. She is ok with this as she knows she will move into the slot that they other lady is vacating at the end of the month and will be eligible for insurance in 60 days or 90 days, whenever.
