Consider accepting a $100.00 donation for a Memorial Tree planting in memory of Mrs. Shirley Schwertner

Background

The Williamson County Parks & Recreation Department is in receipt of a $100.00 donation for the Memorial Tree Program. The donation is given in memory of Mrs. Shirley Schwertner by the Williamson County Commissioners Court. A pecan tree of the appropriate variety will be planted at Berry Springs Park and Preserve during favorable planting conditions this winter season. Mrs. Schwertner worked the past 20 years for Williamson County, starting as a Switchboard Operator at the County Annex, and for the last 6 years as the County Mail Courier. Mrs. Schwertner will be missed by all.
