42. Comments from Commissioners.
  Judge Gattis asked the Court to remember his Administrative Assistant, Peggy Vasquez in prayer; she is having recurring problems with her eyes. Also Kenny Schnell and Annie Birdwell's moms are very ill.

Commissioner Covey commented that the Legislature is being sworn in today and she received an legislative update stating that Representative Burt Solomons of Denton is holding a press conference tomorrow announcing the filing of a proposed constitutional amendment to protect local governments from unfunded mandates.
