Discuss and take appropriate action on interlocal agreement with the City of Leander for reconstruction of County Road 269.

Background

Joe England has been working on the interlocal agreement with the City of Leander for the reconstruction of County Road 269. Our Unified Road System has completed any engineering that is required, and the reconstruction will also be completed by Road and Bridge. In the agreement, the City of Leander agrees to participate in the construction costs, up to $30,000. In addition, the City will annex and maintain the segment of roadway upon completion of the reconstruction. The project has been approved by CapMetro for funding through their Build Central Texas program for FY 2008. The project has also been submitted to CapMetro for Precinct Two's FY 2009 project, and approval is expected soon. Hal Hawes has worked on this agreement.
