Discuss and take appropriate action on Participation Agreement for Round Rock Independent School District for property located at 7700 Cornerwood Drive, Austin, TX 78717. (WCCF Application file 20081204-1)

Background

This is a Participation Agreement under the county's Endangered Species Act incidental take permit number TE-181840-0 dated October 21, 2008. The Round Rock ISD (RRISD) has applied for participation under the terms and conditions of the county's RHCP. This agreement covers a 9.2 acre tract on Cornerwood Drive north of RM 620. Using the conditions of the RHCP the RRISD has provided $32,600 as a participation fee to cover partial take of one endangered species cave and to cover the remainder of the tract. The USFWS has reviewed and concurred with the general outline of the participation agreement as noted in the letter accompanying the Participation Agreement. Approval is contingent upon a final review of counsel for the Williamson County Conservation Foundation.
