Consider approving a request for lane closures for a duathlon to be held on January 20, 2008.

Background

This event is part of the South Mid West Triathlon and Duathlon Annual Regional Conference being held in Williamson County. Part of the event will be held at the Williamson County Regional Park and the race coordinators have been working with Jim Rodgers to coordinate. The event coordinators have also worked with Mike Gleason of the Sheriff's Department and Susan Brown of Tx-DOT. Two to three hundred racers are expected to participate in the event.
