An order declaring an emergency and a grave necessity due to unforeseeable circumstances and approving a budget amendment for the Courthouse Security Fund

Background

The Jail has transferred an employee from the Jail budget to the Courthouse Security Fund/Dept. Under current policy, an employee at the Jail is allowed to bring their tenure with them when a transfer occurs. The current Courthouse Security Fund position is budgeted at a C2.03 at $37,421.17. However, the employee being transferred is currently a C2.13 making $47,779.50. This budget amendment is to cover the shortage of salary, FICA and retirement needed to fund the variance.
