WILLIAMSON COUNTY COMMISSIONER’S COURT

The Commissioner’s Court of Williamson County, Texas will meet in regular session in the Commissioner's Courtroom, 710 Main Street, in Georgetown, Texas to consider the following items:
 
1. Review and approval of minutes.
 
2.
Consider noting in minutes any off right-of-way work on any County road done by Road & Bridge Division.
 
 
3.
Hear County Auditor concerning invoices, bills, Quick Check Report, wire transfers and electronic payments submitted for payment and take appropriate action including, but not limited to approval for payment provided said items are found by the County Auditor to be legal obligations of the county.

 
 
4.
Citizen comments. Except when public hearings are scheduled for later in the meeting, this will be the only opportunity for citizen input. The Court invites comments on any matter affecting the county, whether on the Agenda or not. Speakers should limit their comments to three minutes. Note that the members of the Court may not comment at the meeting about matters that are not on the agenda.
 
 
CONSENT AGENDA
The Consent Agenda includes non-controversial and routine items that the Court may act on with one single vote. The Judge or a Commissioner may pull any item from the consent agenda in order that the court discuss and act upon it individually as part of the Regular Agenda.

17.   10:00 Conduct public hearing relating to a request from District Attorney Shawn Dick to increase the budgeted salary amount for the positions of DA Lead Victim Assistance Coordinator, position #1847; DA Felony Prosecutor I, position #1848 and DA Felony Prosecutor I, position #1848, in the District Attorney’s Office and discuss (1) the reason for the payment in excess of the budgeted amount is being offer to the employee, including the public purpose that will be served by making the excess payment; and (2) the exact amount of the excess payment, the sources of the payment, and the terms for distribution of the payment that effect and maintain the public purpose to be served by making the excess payment.
  1. The reason for the payment in excess of the budgeted amount is to provide for an increased hiring salary for well qualified applicants.
  2. The excess amount is $30,286.65 which will be paid through the normal bi-weekly payroll. The public purpose served by providing the increased salaries is the ability to reduce service delivery issues due to excess training required for less experienced employees.
 
18.   Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a request by District Attorney Shawn Dick to increase the budgeted salary amount for the following positions: DA Lead Victim Assistance Coordinator, position #1847 from the budgeted annual salary amount of $43,671.81 to the increased salary amount of $55,570; DA Felony Prosecutor I, position #1849 from the budgeted annual salary amount of $91,742.23 to the increased salary amount of $100,936.46; DA Felony Prosecutor I, position #1848 from the budgeted salary of $91,742.23 to the increased salary amount of $100,936.46 for the remainder of the current fiscal year.
These increases will be funded using excess salary funds in the current budget.
 
19.   Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on FY18.19 Budget Order.
 
20.   Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding agreement with Charter Communications Operating, LLC d/b/a Spectrum for internet services at 321 Ed Schmidt Blvd, Suite 200 (Commissioner Pct 4 office).
 
21.   Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding termination notice of IFB contract #1601-050, Corrugated Metal Pipe, with Contech Engineering Solutions LLC upon recommendation of Williamson County Road & Bridge Department.
 
22.   Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on authorizing the extension of Williamson County Jail Pharmaceutical Service and Supplies contract 1708-185, for the same pricing, terms and conditions as the existing contract, for the term of October 17, 2018 - October 16, 2019, with Westwood Pharmacy.
 
23.   Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on supplanting and replacing the Agreement Between Owner and Contractor by and between Williamson County, Texas and A Greater Austin Development Co. relating to the San Gabriel Ranch Road Bridge Project, which was previously approved by the Williamson County Commissioners Court at its Regular Session on September 18, 2018, with that certain agreement entitled Standard Form of Agreement by and between Williamson County, Texas and A Greater Austin Development Co.
 
24.   Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving Price Quotations #216959-03, #225540-01, #225540-02, #225609-01, and #216854-01 between Holt Caterpillar and Williamson County for Heavy Equipment in the amount of $1,093,499.01 (including Buyboard Fee) pursuant to BuyBoard contract #515-16 and authorizing the purchase.
 
25.   Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding IFB #1808-256 Ronald Reagan Blvd Turning Lanes Widening at Santa Rita Blvd to the lowest responsive bidder, Joe Bland Construction and authorizing the execution of the agreement.
 
26.   Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of FY 19 Oracle Maintenance and Support in the amount of $308,254.58 and FY 19 Oracle Licensing for Treasury, Financial and Purchasing in the amount of $16,596.49 from Mythics, Inc. per DIR contract #DIR-TSO-2548.
